Prepress Operator at Printed.com, one of the largest and fastest growing on-line print shops in the UK.​

• Liaising with customers daily via email and telephone calls to ensure their artwork is set up correctly for print and advising on any potential issues due to production tolerances e.g. movement on the press, finishing tolerances, artwork restrictions to ensure customer satisfaction

• Amending artwork, when possible, to provide the best customer experience to give the best quality product

• Quality control in flagging jobs which are not production ready before printing, returned from production due to an issue e.g. RIP failures on the presses or to raise awareness of any potential issues due to tolerance limitations pre-pressing. Correct artwork is checked over and imposed accordingly as per the job specification before sending to print.

• Answering any queries that customers or colleagues have regarding artwork, products, tolerances.

• Following FSC guidelines and procedures to ensure customer artwork is print ready, and the correct logo is used before sending off for approval.

• Meeting deadlines by ensuring all jobs are processed before our cut off times throughout the day.

• Using brand guidelines to create digital assets and print ready products using layout and typography skills to ensure the artwork looks professional and on brand for each client

• Using Jira and Monday boards to manage projects to ensure deadlines are met.
